Talk about the book
This is a space to share your reading experience — reactions, theories, favourite passages, how a chapter made you feel. Keep it about the story.
Stay anonymous until you're ready
You are your reading name here. No pressure to reveal who you are. If a connection feels right, use the reveal feature when you're comfortable.
Be kind
Reading is personal. People connect differently to books. Respect different opinions, paces, and interpretations. No spoilers without warning.
Respect privacy
If someone hasn't revealed themselves, don't push. What's shared in the context of a reading connection stays between you.
No harassment
Any form of harassment, hate speech, or unwanted behaviour results in immediate removal. Driftmark is built on trust.
Reveal thoughtfully
When you reveal yourself, you're sharing something real. Do it because you genuinely want to connect — not out of pressure.
Mood boards are personal
When sharing mood boards, be open to others' interpretations of the same book. There are many ways to experience a story.
Keep conversations meaningful
Quality over quantity. One real conversation about a book is worth more than ten shallow ones. Take your time.
